Who we are
Our nurturing preschool environment is designed with children’s well-being, curiosity, and social-emotional growth in mind. Little Nestlings was created to offer families in West Linn a thoughtful early learning experience where children feel safe, seen, and supported as they explore, create, connect, and grow.
What We Believe In
At Little Nestlings, we embrace the Reggio Emilia philosophy and view children as competent, curious, capable learners. Our environment acts as a third teacher, inviting children to explore, collaborate, express their ideas, and build confidence through meaningful hands-on experiences.
We also give daily attention to social-emotional skills, helping children practice connection, problem-solving, communication, emotional regulation, and care for their classroom community.
OUR PROGRAM
Every part of our preschool program is designed to support creativity, critical thinking, social-emotional growth, and joy in learning.
STEAM
Our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) program inspires curiosity and creativity while helping children explore how things work. It encourages innovation and critical thinking from the earliest years.
ASL
Our American Sign Language (ASL) program fosters inclusivity, empathy, and cognitive growth. Children learn expressive communication skills that strengthen confidence and connection with others.
Outdoor Learning
Our Outdoor Learning program encourages hands-on discovery and exploration in nature. Each day outside nurtures curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving while fostering a lasting love for the environment.
