Welcome to Our Nest

Choosing the right early learning environment is an important decision. We have designed our enrollment process to be clear, thoughtful, and easy to navigate. Our team is here to answer questions, explain current availability, and support your family through each step.

Your child’s education, emotional well-being, and sense of belonging are at the heart of our work. We look forward to getting to know your family and partnering with you during this meaningful stage of your child’s development.

Why Families Choose Little Nestlings

Families choose Little Nestlings because children are supported as capable, curious, creative learners. The classroom environment invites children to explore real materials, ask questions, create, build, move, tell stories, collaborate, and express their ideas in many ways. Teachers serve as co-learners and guides. They observe closely, respond thoughtfully, and help children develop confidence, creativity, communication, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills.
Our program supports the whole child. Children practice confidence, communication, emotional regulation, friendship skills, independence, collaboration, problem-solving, and care for others through daily play and exploration. Little Nestlings is licensed by the State of Oregon and is connected with the National Association for the Education of Young Children, the Oregon Association for the Education of Young Children, and the North American Reggio Emilia Alliance.

What Children Experience

Our mixed-age preschool classrooms serve children ages 3, 4, and 5. Children learn alongside one another, build meaningful relationships, and have opportunities to both receive and offer support within the classroom community.
